ANAM Environments™ was founded by Kelly, a visionary designer whose work is shaped by lived experience, deep observation, and a belief that environments should serve the human nervous system—not overwhelm it.

"I have been blessed in my career to have clients (now so many of them as friends that are like family) that give me creative leeway to expand horizons and show what is truly possible. From vacation homes to salons/medspas, training centers, luxury lamborghini design, product design and even 26+ hospitality and dressing rooms for the St. Louis Leg of the 360 Tour for the Band U2, every challenge has allowed me to see how design selection impacts everything from a very large scale to even the most minute.
The true impact of beautiful and functional Interior Design transcends explanation, enhancing cognitive function, performance, wellness and mood overall. How we experience an environment, even an event, relies completely on the backdrop set in the design of the environment envelope - which includes all of the senses. That is my design approach, to embrace the inhabitants of a space with the right sensory input that creates the most memorable and most pleasurable experience overall, as well as leaving them with a sense of inspiration and awe."

"When your clients are both doctors, in charge of an entire hospital staff and a separate infectious diseases center, creating a restorative space connected to the healing properties of nature were of critical importance.
Who knew how valuable this space would become when the world shut down and they were deemed part of the essential workers to continue to provide healthcare and comfort during one of the worst pandemics in history.
The power of beauty and nature to heal are what drove me to pursue my certification in NeuroDesign and NeuroAesthetics. Creating environments that become healing sanctuaries to the world's leaders and healers is a missive I hold dearly. Kelly is certified in NeuroDesign + NeuroAesthetics through the NeuroDesign Academy - a distinction achieved by fewer than 1% of designers worldwide - integrating evidence-based environmental psychology into emotionally impactful spaces that support well-being, performance, restoration, and human connection. The Academy is led by a faculty of esteemed neuroscientists, brain trauma specialists, medical experts and world renown organizations including tech giant 3M. Case studies include those of NASA and the NIKE Serena Williams HQ and other worldwide projects.

Having been a patient care volunteer at a local Children's Hospital and having worked with many doctors and leaders over the years, I know how our environments can truly heal, and with my NueroDesign and NeuroAesthetics certification, I now have a vast language, resources and knowledge that supports Claudia Miller's belief that what we do as designers has more impact on wellness than even modern western medicine."
